Remember, O LORD, against the Edomites the day of Jerusalem, how they said, "Lay it bare, lay it bare, down to its foundations!" O daughter of Babylon, doomed to be destroyed, blessed shall he be who repays you with what you have done to us! Blessed shall he be who takes your little ones and dashes them against the rock!
Romans 12:19“Beloved, never avenge yourselves, but leave it to the wrath of God, for it is written, "Vengeance is mine, I will repay, says the Lord." and Luke 6:28 “bless those who curse you, pray for those who abuse you.”
I am called to obey these two commandments but also to pray, “Come, Lord Jesus, come for the blood of Your martyred saints cry out.”
