Let a righteous man strike me–it is a kindness; let him rebuke me–it is oil for my head; let my head not refuse it.
Lord, You have assembled Your people as community to encourage, equip and correct each other. The latter is difficult for me to accept but accept it, I must, for these course corrections come from You to guide me along the King’s Highway. If I want to stay in obedience to You, I must not only heed Your written Word, but also that which is voiced by the Spirit through a brother or sister.
