Psalm 14:2-3 The LORD looks down from heaven on the children of man, to see if there are any who understand, who seek after God.

John Nunnikhoven

Psalm 14:2-3

The LORD looks down from heaven on the children of man, to see if there are any who understand, who seek after God. They have all turned aside; together they have become corrupt; there is none who does good, not even one.

I cannot hide from You, Lord, all my filthy rags laid out before You. Your eyes pierce to the very marrow of my bones, seeing the feeble attempts to justify my behavior for what they truly are. Nothing but self-serving efforts to keep me from acknowledging Your sovereignty. But You are Lord.
