The LORD is gracious and merciful, slow to anger and abounding in steadfast love. The LORD is good to all, and his mercy is over all that he has made.
Yes, You are slow to anger and filled with compassion. When I think of my life before bowing to You, a life framed by denial and disobedience, a life that I knew was wrong but would not admit, and Your great mercy endured. You waited, You sent messengers, You tilled the vineyard and waited for me to come to my senses and confess Your Lordship. Your mercy is boundless.
