How long, O Lord, will you look on? Rescue me from their destruction, my precious life from the lions! I will thank you in the great congregation; in the mighty throng I will praise you.
Now is the time, Lord, to release me from those compulsions that drive my life. Heal me from the sin of pride and self-will. Bring me to my knees before You in repentance and contrition. Then I can praise You in the congregations of the saints for Your great mercy,
