Be gracious to me and hear my prayer! O men, how long shall my honor be turned into shame? How long will you love vain words and seek after lies? Selah But know that the LORD has set apart the godly for himself; the LORD hears when I call to him.
Lord, to what extent and where do I love vain words and seek after lies? Where and how does this separate me from those You have set apart? How has this condition interfered with communion between us? I repent, Lord, I repent! Change my heart, O Lord, make it ever new.
