Why are you cast down, O my soul, and why are you in turmoil within me? Hope in God; for I shall again praise him, my salvation and my God.
What reason do I have to be sad? My hope is in the Lord. What excuse do I have for enduring the turmoil of depression? Praise the Lord, His mercy extends forever. He alone is my salvation, He alone is my God. It is well, it is well with my soul.
