In this time of trials, Lord, as I watch the rotting away of the moral fiber of the nation and the church following suit, it is difficult to remember that You are in control. Forgive me for not trusting You, for not believing You when You tell me that not even a sparrow falls without Your knowledge. Teach me to trust in Your promises and to take Your word as Your Word.
