Those of low estate are but a breath; those of high estate are a delusion; in the balances they go up; they are together lighter than a breath. Put no trust in extortion; set no vain hopes on robbery; if riches increase, set not your heart on them.
Why is it, Lord, that I am so quick to seek the advice of others, even those who have not demonstrated a love for You and Your word? What does it take for me to learn that You, operating through the Holy Spirit, is all the guidance I need? Teach me, Lord, bring me to my knees.
