O mountain of God, mountain of Bashan; O many-peaked mountain, mountain of Bashan! (16) Why do you look with hatred, O many-peaked mountain, at the mount that God desired for his abode, yes, where the LORD will dwell forever?
Why does the Evil One hate those who have been called by His Name? Why does he seek to destroy all who profess fealty to the Word of God? Yet the LORD triumphs, His people will dwell forever in His holy presence.
