But when I thought how to understand this, it seemed to me a wearisome task, until I went into the sanctuary of God; then I discerned their end.
Lord, it is Your gift of the Holy Spirit that convicts us of our sins and shortfalls, that calls to our consciences to change our ways of living. It is the illumination of your holiness that exposes our failings and brings awareness of the need for repentance.
