Psalm 73:21-24

John Nunnikhoven

Psalm 73:21-24

When my soul was embittered, when I was pricked in heart, I was brutish and ignorant; I was like a beast toward you. Nevertheless, I am continually with you; you hold my right hand. You guide me with your counsel, and afterward you will receive me to glory.

I have sinned against You and against You only have I sinned. In my prideful actions yesterday, I made fun of another individual and demeaned him before his friends and peers. It was arrogance and it was mean. Forgive me, Lord. Change my heart, O God, make it ever true. I know that Your Holy Spirit was warning me but I refused to listen; break that headstrong spirit within me that refuses to obey. Thank You, for accepting my repentance. Praise You for transforming me into Your likeness. One more step along the King’s Highway. Now I must apologize to my brother and to the brothers.
