Restore us again, O God of our salvation, and put away your indignation toward us! Will you be angry with us forever? Will you prolong your anger to all generations? Will you not revive us again, that your people may rejoice in you? Show us your steadfast love, O LORD, and grant us your salvation.
And now the time has come again, Lord, we have forsaken You, we have followed false teachings, we have turned to idolatrous practices and allowed sexual iniquity to invade our assemblies, our works are in Your name but are intended to glorify us and our names, and we have allowed the fire of our faith to die out and to no longer blaze with a white-hot heat. Fill our hearts with shame and bring us to our knees in repentance.
