O LORD our God, you answered them; you were a forgiving God to them, but an avenger of their wrongdoings. Exalt the LORD our God, and worship at his holy mountain; for the LORD our God is holy!
But that great cloud of witnesses also include thousands, yea even millions of unsung heroes of the faith like the simple, uneducated Iowa farmer who worked with the delinquent youth of Boone County, setting an example for his family. His prayers have been answered with descendants who minister in the prisons of California, Iowa and Vermont, others who are planting churches in Central America and those who have opened their homes to the lost and destitute. Thank You for these gifts, those who labor in Your Name without recognition and fame.
