But I trust in you, O LORD; I say, "You are my God."
To 'trust' is to completely rely upon. It is commitment without reservation.
These words 'believe/trust/commit/obey/faith' do not properly have modifiers. I either trust the LORD, God the Almighty in every aspect of my life or I don't trust at all. I cannot reserved any portion of my being to myself and for my control.
