A Prayer of David.Incline your ear, O LORD, and answer me, for I am poor and needy. Preserve my life, for I am godly; save your servant, who trusts in you—you are my God. Be gracious to me, O Lord, for to you do I cry all the day.
Oh, LORD, there are days when I want to sit in a corner and weep, "Woe is me, I'm a poor little boy with nothing to eat but oatmeal." I am incapable of recognizing the bounty spread before me in the presence of my enemies.
Forgive me for unthankfulness and ingratitude. Forgive me for my lack of trust.
