Not ashamed–to be known as a child of God,
For I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes, to the Jew first and also to the Greek.
Not ashamed–to be known as a child of God, as one who proclaims the way of salvation, who acknowledges his sin and need to redemption, who shouts the victory from the rooftops. Bring me to that glorious state, I want to change but I do not, I cannot in my own strength–it is like a weak and broken reed. Lord, make me one of Your proclaimers.
