Romans 2:6-8
He will render to each one according to his works: to those who by patience in well-doing seek for glory and honor and immortality, he will give eternal life; but for those who are self-seeking and do not obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness, there will be wrath and fury.
Now, before anyone jumps on me–I know that salvation is by grace not works–However… Proof of salvation is by results!
Look at Matthew 5:6 and ask yourself if you are hungering and thirsting after righteousness? Look at 2 Corinthians 3:18 and ask if you are being transformed from one degree of glory into another? Look at Romans 12:2 and ask if you are learning how to test and discern the good and acceptable and perfect will of God? All these and many other Scriptures indicated transformation as the certainty of our salvation Praise the Lord!
Lord Jesus, thank You for that great gift of the Holy Spirit to guide me into all truth and to lovingly mentor me into full realization of the glories of Kingdom living in the here and now.. Thank You for the gifts of righteous hunger and thirst. Thank You for that transformation that is approaching Your glorious image.
Lord, I also pray for the boldness and ability to carry this message to those who are trusting in their own abilities to discern truth, but who refuse to obey Truth.
