Psalm 43:1-2
Vindicate me, O God, and defend my cause against an ungodly people, from the deceitful and unjust man deliver me! (2) For you are the God in whom I take refuge; why have you rejected me? Why do I go about mourning because of the oppression of the enemy?
Why do I insist on focusing on the source of my troubles rather than the source of my strength and salvation? You do not reject me; I simply turn my eyes from You and try to work it out in my own strength and knowledge, forgetting very conveniently that You are Lord of all creation and all things are under Your feet.
