With the merciful You will show Yourself merciful; Psalms 18:25-29

John Nunnikhoven

Psalms 18:25-29

With the merciful You will show Yourself merciful; With a blameless man You will show Yourself blameless; With the pure You will show Yourself pure; And with the devious You will show Yourself shrewd.

For You will save the humble people, But will bring down haughty looks. For You will light my lamp; The LORD my God will enlighten my darkness. For by You I can run against a troop, By my God I can leap over a wall.

A timely Scripture as I recover from the side effects of the 2nd vaccination. It could be worse, but a lack of energy and enthusiasm is sufficient. It has not been a 'leaping over walls' day at all.

But to open up this precious Psalm this evening, a gift from the LORD, 'a hang in there, John, I've got your back' type of gift. He is enlightening my darkness indeed.
