I cling to your testimonies, O LORD; let me not be put to shame!
An interesting linkage of thoughts, the Psalmist is more concerned about failing to be faithful to You than anything else. It would be the expected reaction from someone who was not striving to be obedient to You, to be concerned about their status in the world's eyes. No, the Psalmist has it right, do not let be fail You and be shamed in Your eyes. Help me and guide me, LORD God Almighty.
