The DEEP is expanding to six days a week. Starting next Saturday, we'll begin publishing a weekend series titled “Guilt Trips.” This series will take us through the lives of many great saints who also had great failures. Their guilt from those failures played an essential role in laying the groundwork for their ministry.

Guilt Trips is written by my good friend Matt Richardson. Matt is a former pastor and an accomplished writer. Here’s a sample from a local newspaper.

Starting on Monday, I’ll begin a related series titled “Christian Eyes.” This series will show how Christians see things differently. Instead of an out of control world of random events, Christians see purposes. We see a kingdom under the rule of its king, Jesus Christ. It’s anything but random.

Together, Christian Eyes and Guilt Trips hope to bring a refreshing perspective to the saga of how the kingdom of heaven has grown through the actions of flawed people like us.
