Voices Together

Romans 10:11-13

For the Scripture says, “Everyone who believes in him will not be put to shame.” For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek; for the same Lord is Lord of all, bestowing his riches on all who call on him. For “everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.”

I know that someday I will stand before the Great Throne of the LORD, God the Almighty and confidently state that I am forgiven and point to the Cross, the seal of my redemption. Why then should I be ashamed of my standing before men as a redeemed son of God? Every fiber of my being should shout, "I'm redeemed, hallelujah, I'm redeemed."

Today's readings in the Psalms:

Morning: Psalm 144

Mid-day: 119:169-176

Evening: Psalm 69

Prayer of the week, based on Paul's prayer in: 2 Timothy 4:22

The Lord be with your spirit. Grace be with you.

As Paul prayed for Timothy that the Lord be with his spirit and that the grace of God would fill him, so let us pray for each other this week. Let us covenant to raise up each member and their personal ministry by praying through our congregational directory. Amen

Creational Theology hint for the week--In Thanksgiving for a Good Meal

All Glory to you, Creator of the Universe, /Who has fed me so well today! /In the name of the Creator, /whose love and goodness sustains me, /In the name of the Child, /whose love and goodness sustains me, /In the name of the Spirit, /whose love and goodness sustains me, /I offer thanksgiving for this good meal! /For the bounty of the Earth, /and the good things it brings forth,

/I sing Your praises! /For the savor of good food and the refreshment of good drink, /I sing Your praises! /For the great honor of sharing Your pleasure in what You have made, /I sing Your praises! /May this good meal strengthen me to do Your will, /May it sustain me in Your service, /May the pleasure of it remind me of Your ever-present love and goodness!  Anamchara Books.
