You yourselves are our letter of recommendation, written on our hearts, to be known and read by all. And you show that you are a letter from Christ delivered by us, written not with ink but with the Spirit of the living God, not on tablets of stone but on tablets of human hearts.
Can I point to various individuals and claim that they are my letter of recommendation, written upon their transformed hearts by the Spirit of the living God? Is it essential that I know? Whose letter of recommendation am I? Should I make an effort to tell them? Wouldn't it be an encouragement to them to know of the part they played in my journey to a relationship with the LORD, God, the Almighty?
