Who is the man who fears the LORD? Him will he instruct in the way that he should choose. His soul shall abide in well-being, and his offspring shall inherit the land. The friendship of the LORD is for those who fear him, and he makes known to them his covenant.
Is this what Paul had in mind as he wrote 1 Corinthians 3:14-16? That it is the Fear fo the LORD, God, the Almighty that leads to both understanding of His covenant with His people, those who fear Him, and a friendship that is based upon having His mind? Is it too much to say that the Fear of the LORD leads to soul friendship with Him? Was the relationship between David and Jonathan ( 1 Samuel 18:1) a symbol of what was to come to us?
