Psalm 144:3-8

O LORD, what is man that you regard him, or the son of man that you think of him? Man is like a breath; his days are like a passing shadow. Bow your heavens, O LORD, and come down! Touch the mountains so that they smoke! Flash forth the lightning and scatter them; send out your arrows and rout them! Stretch out your hand from on high; rescue me and deliver me from the many waters, from the hand of foreigners, whose mouths speak lies and whose right hand is a right hand of falsehood.

LORD, You stand between me and many dangers, asking nothing but my love and obedience. You are the truly all powerful, but yet the One who asks nothing but my love and loyalty.

How can this be? The One who said and it was, the One who says and it will be, the One who will say and it will be. The Alpha and the Omega; the beginning and the end. Yet You, have given all to pay the penalties for my sins and restore me to Yourself.

Oh, love divine, love never ceasing.I long for your precepts; in your righteousness give me life!

Reading

Morning Psalm 73, Noon Psalm 119:81-88, Evening Psalm 7. If you follow this regimen, you will pray through the Psalms every 47 days or just under 8 times per year.

An alternate Reading Plan is based on 7 chapters/day from 7 sections of the Scriptures. My groupings are: Genesis-Joshua, Judges to Esther, Job to Song of Solomon, Psalms breaking 119 into convenient sets, Isaiah to Malachi, Matthew to Acts, Romans to Revelation.

Or set your own reading schedule up in convenient groupings as fits your study habits. But a daily time in the Word of the LORD is an absolute.
