Dear friends,

Last week, through a careless oversight, I posted the meditations intended for the week of March 21-27.  The ones for the week of February 21-27 will be posted during the March week.  The error was uncovered when two individuals wrote to me to tell me how the Holy Spirit had spoken to them through the meditations of the day.  Very interesting to watch Him at work.

Psalm 60:4-8

You have set up a banner for those who fear you, that they may flee to it from the bow. Selah That your beloved ones may be delivered, give salvation by your right hand and answer us! God has spoken in his holiness: "With exultation I will divide up Shechem and portion out the Vale of Succoth. Gilead is mine; Manasseh is mine; Ephraim is my helmet; Judah is my scepter. Moab is my washbasin; upon Edom I cast my shoe; over Philistia I shout in triumph."

Lord, awaken Your church, renew and restore them to their calling to be salt and light to the world. Do whatever it takes to once again restore us to our first love, to that burning heart within us to declare the greatness of Your mercy and grace; to that passion for You that will drive us to live according to Your word as a testimony to the transforming power of that grace and mercy. Lord, restore Your church.
