Psalm 81:13-16
Oh, that my people would listen to me, that Israel would walk in my ways! I would soon subdue their enemies and turn my hand against their foes. Those who hate the LORD would cringe toward him, and their fate would last forever. But he would feed you with the finest of the wheat, and with honey from the rock I would satisfy you."
Lord, I stray from Your commands. Many are the times that I ignore that still, small voice that seeks to direct me in a path pleasing to You. Why is it for I know that with You, in Your will, is the very finest of lives; a life nourished by the Bread of the Word and sweetness of Shalom. Lord, I repent, change my heart O God, make it ever new, let it be like You.
