Ephesians 5:15-17

Colossians 3:23-24

Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men, (24) knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward. You are serving the Lord Christ.

Lord, two powerful passages to lead me and necessary reminders. It is so easy for me to get distracted and fill my life with unproductive activities. Activities that are unproductive because they are not in Your will or because I have not followed Your leading in what I do and have done my assignment sloppily. Help me, Lord, to seek Your will in all things and then to work heartily, as unto You.
