To the choirmaster. Of David, the servant of the LORD. Transgression speaks to the wicked deep in his heart; there is no fear of God before his eyes. For he flatters himself in his own eyes that his iniquity cannot be found out and hated. The words of his mouth are trouble and deceit; he has ceased to act wisely and do good. He plots trouble while on his bed; he sets himself in a way that is not good; he does not reject evil.
Ah, Lord, how easy it is to convince myself that I am smarter than You, that I can transgress and offend You, but You won't notice, You won't really be concerned, that You are to busy with the big stuff to pay attention to my little peccadilloes. I am wrong!
I am one of those "all things" that is under your purview and care, I am one of Your sheep, I am one who has sworn fealty to You, I am one for whom You gave Your all, I must adhere to Your Word and follow You in every aspect of my life.
You are Lord and Master of my life.
