Lord, now this is security. You are always at my right hand to guide me and prevent me from worry; I know that I will not be abandoned, that death has no sting, that You show the path of life to me, and that fullness of joy and pleasure are my lot forevermore.
Yet, Lord, I have trouble living the truth of this. I am aware that these are true, but to make them the center of my life, my raison d'etre, ah, therein lies the rub. Bring me, Lord, into those places that come from fully knowing You.
