You make springs gush forth in the valleys; they flow between the hills; they give drink to every beast of the field; the wild donkeys quench their thirst. Beside them the birds of the heavens dwell; they sing among the branches. From your lofty abode you water the mountains; the earth is satisfied with the fruit of your work.
Having set the physical topology in place, You provide for the sustenance of Your creatures with amble provision of water. This emphasizes to me that it is water, living water that is necessary for life to exist. And then you fill the air with songbirds to sing Your praises. What a revelation, for I have never realized that the beautiful songs filling the air as I arise in the morning are a call to the beginning of a day to be spent praising You
