First of all, then, I urge that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings be made for all people, for kings and all who are in high positions, that we may lead a peaceful and quiet life, godly and dignified in every way.
Lord, I frequently forget to pray for those in high positions, let alone, pray that they will enable Your people to live peaceful, quiet, godly and dignified lives. And I forget to pray that Your people will desire such lives. Forgive me and transform me. My prayer life leaves much to be desired.
