Look carefully then how you walk, not as unwise but as wise, making the best use of the time, because the days are evil. Therefore do not be foolish, but understand what the will of the Lord is. And do not get drunk with wine, for that is debauchery, but be filled with the Spirit,
Lord, help me to understand “the best use of time” and apply it properly to my life. It must start with an understanding of Your will as embodied in the Great Commandment. Next must be to set the priorities according to Your instruction to seek first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness. And finally, to not be distracted by 'wine' or anything else that serves to divert attention and effort from Your will for me.
