Psalm 25:1-3
Of David. To you, O LORD, I lift up my soul. O my God, in you I trust; let me not be put to shame; let not my enemies exult over me. Indeed, none who wait for you shall be put to shame; they shall be ashamed who are wantonly treacherous.
My worst and most vicious enemy is Me. And that enemy brings shame and despair and then exults over my failures, using them as weapons against me. But You, O Lord, are strength and power, wisdom and knowledge, goodness and mercy, grace and love; You triumph over the god Me and put him to flight.
