The angel of the LORD encamps around those who fear him, and delivers them.
That army that surrounded Elisha and his servant in 2 Kings 6 are promised to all God-fearers. I tend to think in terms of physical protection and that it is, but the LORD's hand is not limited to the security of my house against the druggie who wants Grandma's silver plate. There is nothing, i.e., no thing whether physical, mental, actual, or imagined from which I am not delivered.
Look at Psalm 37, a psalm of protection and covering by the hand of the LORD. It ends in vvs 38-39 these assuring words, “The salvation of the righteous is from the LORD; he is their stronghold in the time of trouble. The LORD helps them and delivers them; he delivers them from the wicked and saves them because they take refuge in him.”
