Since then we have a great high priest who has passed through the heavens, Jesus, the Son of God, let us hold fast our confession. For we do not have a high priest who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses, but one who in every respect has been tempted as we are, yet without sin.

Sometimes, Lord, I feel so alone, the only one to go through this challenge since the dawn of history. But how wrong I am for You have gone there before, You have endured all challenges, all tests, all temptations and have overcome. Overcome through the power of the Word and blazing the way for me.

Steadfast love and faithfulness meet; righteousness and peace kiss each other. Faithfulness springs up from the ground, and righteousness looks down from the sky. Yes, the LORD will give what is good, and our land will yield its increase. Righteousness will go before him and make his footsteps a way.

O Lord, that as our faithfulness rises up to You, as we live out the call to obedience, it is then that Your righteousness falls upon us to bring us into life in the Kingdom, that life of righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Spirit.

Let me hear what God the LORD will speak, for he will speak peace to his people, to his saints; but let them not turn back to folly. Surely his salvation is near to those who fear him, that glory may dwell in our land.

Lord, it is so easy to slip back into folly and a life that is dishonoring to You. Keep me ever attentive to the leading of the Holy Spirit that I would not disgrace You in a way that causes others to reject Your great gift of grace.

Lord, even though Your Church has turned against You, has not been faithful to Your Word, forgive us and restore us to communion with You. Restore us, Lord, that we once again shine as testimony to the transforming power of the Cross.

Therefore, having this ministry by the mercy of God, we do not lose heart. But we have renounced disgraceful, underhanded ways. We refuse to practice cunning or to tamper with God's word, but by the open statement of the truth we would commend ourselves to everyone's conscience in the sight of God.

Lord, that my ministry would be open and transparent to all; that I would carry Your Word to all, untampered and true, without bringing it into a state that is acceptable in the world's eyes. Let me not forget that You are the Judge, that it is You I must honor, that it is You whom I present to the world in word and deed.

Your testimonies are my heritage forever, for they are the joy of my heart. I incline my heart to perform your statutes forever, to the end.

This is a key precept here; that I should come to the point where Your testimonies are the joy of my heart. Until then they are anything but. However, as You write them on my heart, Your joy infuses my being and I am able to obey Your statutes forever.

O, Lord, bring me to that state where I can truly say, “Thus saith the Lord” in every aspect of my life and follow Your instructions without hesitation.

I would rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God than dwell in the tents of wickedness. (For the LORD God is a sun and shield; the LORD bestows favor and honor. No good thing does he withhold from those who walk uprightly. O LORD of hosts, blessed is the one who trusts in you!

To be a doorkeeper, or a janitor or a dishwasher in Your House, to be the lowliest servant in Your Kingdom, to be a street sweeper in Your Courts is far superior to a life of ease in the fool's gold gilded palaces of man. A total blessing to trust in You and Your promise to never leave me nor forsake me.
