Psalm 2:10-11
Now therefore, O kings, be wise; be warned, O rulers of the earth. Serve the LORD with fear, and rejoice with trembling.
Why is it that the nation fights against the obvious? Why does the church of Christendom resist obedience and instead, follow after the idols of the world? Why does not the message of Righteousness, Peace and Joy in the Holy Spirit not resonate with those who only name the Name without obeying the Name? Help me to serve You and to rejoice in Your blessings that all may see and follow.

I will tell of the decree: The LORD said to me, "You are my Son; today I have begotten you. Ask of me, and I will make the nations your heritage, and the ends of the earth your possession. You shall break them with a rod of iron and dash them in pieces like a potter's vessel."
Come, Lord Jesus, come quickly. Return and claim Your own, bring about that final restoration of the Kingdom and destroy the last vestiges of sin. Your Bride awaits.

He who sits in the heavens laughs; the Lord holds them in derision. Then he will speak to them in his wrath, and terrify them in his fury, saying, "As for me, I have set my King on Zion, my holy hill."
Lord, there is no sense of immediacy here, no call for me to take action but Your promise that You will deal with those who deride You and Your people. Your Kingdom is operational, fully staffed and pursuing Your instructions, bring it to fruition in the here and now, yet anticipating that day when all will be accomplished and the Kingdom is in full flower.

Psalm 2:1-3
Why do the nations rage and the peoples plot in vain? The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the LORD and against his Anointed, saying, "Let us burst their bonds apart and cast away their cords from us."
Is this not an accurate description of the world today? We find man devising ways to destroy any of Your influence and seek their own instincts. These instincts are based upon the desperately wicked heart of man and are the counsel of fools.

Acts 2:36, Philippians 2:9-11
Let all the house of Israel therefore know for certain that God has made him both Lord and Christ, this Jesus whom you crucified....Therefore God has highly exalted him and bestowed on him the name that is above every name, so that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
From glory to shame to the exaltation of the Name that is above all other names. The Lord Jesus, the Christ, the Son of the Living God, The Ruler of all things, the Master of Creation, the One to whom every knee must bow. My Lord, my Master, my Savior, my Brother. The one of infinite grace and mercy, the one who is love, the Light of the World and yet, the humble servant of all. Praise You, Lord Jesus the Christ.

Psalm 1:5-6
Therefore the wicked will not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous; for the LORD knows the way of the righteous, but the way of the wicked will perish.
The promise of eventual and certain triumph over the forces of evil and darkness. Your assurance that my soldiering on in faithfulness will be rewarded and those who have sought my harm will be dealt with justly. Praise you, My Lord and Master.

Psalm 1:3-4
He is like a tree planted by streams of water that yields its fruit in its season, and its leaf does not wither. In all that he does, he prospers. The wicked are not so, but are like chaff that the wind drives away.
Your promise is that I will live in the Righteousness, Peace, and Joy that is life in the Kingdom, guided by the Holy Spirit. As the leaves of the tree will not wither in the harsh arid winds, neither will my life wither in the onslaught of tests, trials and temptations. The fruit of the Spirit will mature in due season.

Psalm 1:1-2
Blessed is the man who walks not in the counsel of the wicked, nor stands in the way of sinners, nor sits in the seat of scoffers; but his delight is in the law of the LORD, and on his law he meditates day and night.
Lord, this is a passage of stark contrasts with the division being choice. Do I choose to spend my time, thoughts, words and actions in the company and support of those who despise you or do I choose to bask in the Shalom of Your Word and Presence? The two cannot coexist any more than dark can exist in the presence of light. I choose to live in the Kingdom of Light, that place where Your Presence radiates over all.

Psalm 119:108
Accept my freewill offerings of praise, O LORD, and teach me your rules.
Unless it is freewill, how can it be praise? If I mouth empty litanies, it is no more than the turning of a prayer wheel. But when the praise is the overflow of my heart, then You are honored and glorified; then the infusion of the Word into the very fabric of my soul. No turning back, no turning back.

Philippians 3:7-11
But whatever gain I had, I counted as loss for the sake of Christ. (8) Indeed, I count everything as loss because of the surpassing worth of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord. For his sake I have suffered the loss of all things and count them as rubbish, in order that I may gain Christ (9) and be found in him, not having a righteousness of my own that comes from the law, but that which comes through faith in Christ, the righteousness from God that depends on faith-- (10) that I may know him and the power of his resurrection, and may share his sufferings, becoming like him in his death, (11) that by any means possible I may attain the resurrection from the dead.
That precious righteousness that come through You, my Lord, and is laid out before me in all its exquisite beauty in the Law. Not to be fulfilled through my own efforts but through Your redemption, purifying me for the Kingdom of God and instructing me in Kingdom living through the empowerment of the Holy Spirit.

Psalm 150:4-6
Praise Him with trumpet sound; praise Him with lute and harp! Praise Him with tambourine and dance; praise Him with strings and pipe! Praise Him with sounding cymbals; praise Him with loud clashing cymbals! Let everything that has breath praise the LORD! Praise the LORD!
I am to praise You with body and soul, to put my entire being, the very breath of my life into acknowledging Who You are. And it is an orchestra, a band of Your saints, not a solo., that is called to produe this mighty hymn.
