Who can meet these requirements: clean hands? pure heart? virtuous? truthful? Not me as me, but me as a child of the King, washed and restored by the Blood of the Lamb. I have complete, full and constant access to the Holiest of Holies. I have received and am receiving blessing and righteousness. I am Blessed. Praise You, my Lord and my Master.

Lord, I need to know Your ways of comfort and healing. I need to understand Your paths that lead to the wisdom that brings peace to the afflicted, solace to the sorrowing and freedom to those who are bound by the lies of the Evil One. Not the psycho-babble of the age, but Your healing that drains the Slough of Despond.

This is so good, Lord. You ask me to obey You as a demonstration of my love for You; then You provide the ability to be obedient as a demonstration of Your love for me. And then You fill my heart with the longing to be obedient and to be a demonstration of your love. This is so good, my Lord and my Master.

Who is the man who fears the LORD? Him will he instruct in the way that he should choose. His soul shall abide in well-being, and his offspring shall inherit the land. The friendship of the LORD is for those who fear him, and he makes known to them his covenant. My eyes are ever toward the LORD, for he will pluck my feet out of the net.

I am stepping forward this day to claim my inheritance, to take hold of those promises of well-being and friendship. You do direct my eyes towards You, You have plucked my feet out of the net of despair and discouragement and given me clear direction in Your way. I have no need to fear the Evil One for You are my shield. Praise You, Lord.

My eyes long for your promise; I ask, "When will you comfort me?"

Your promise is that You will manifest Yourself to me. I long for the complete manifestation, the total presence, the constant awareness of You in me and I in You. I call for that promise, Lord. Transform me into Your image.

Psalm 18:46-50

The LORD lives, and blessed be my rock, and exalted be the God of my salvation--the God who gave me vengeance and subdued peoples under me, who delivered me from my enemies; yes, you exalted me above those who rose against me; you rescued me from the man of violence.  For this I will praise you, O LORD, among the nations, and sing to your name. Great salvation he brings to his king, and shows steadfast love to his anointed, to David and his offspring forever.

Sing it, O my soul, sing it! He has delivered me from my enemies, He has raised me above those sought my harm, He has given me power and wisdom beyond measure to resist the wiles of the Evil One, He is the LORD, God Almighty.

On the day I called, You answered me; my strength of soul You increased.

What a promise, Lord, to know that this evening I will be able to shout that You answered my call and that You increased the strength of my soul this day.  What a promise it is to know that this was true yesterday, it is true today and it will be true tomorrow. On the day I call, You answer.  Praise You my Lord and my Master.

All the kings of the earth shall give You thanks, O LORD, for they have heard the words of Your mouth, and they shall sing of the ways of the LORD, for great is the glory of the LORD.   For though the LORD is high, He regards the lowly, but the haughty He knows from afar.

In that coming day, Lord, when the not yet is the now, all the high and mighty of the earth will sing Your praises.  All creation will give glory and honor to Your name, for then all things will be under You and will pay homage to You.  Even the lilies of the field will dance in Your honor and the fallen leaves will swirl and pirouette.  All nature will be a ballet of praise, all mankind will bow in homage. What a glorious day that will be!

Remember your word to your servant, in which you have made me hope.  This is my comfort in my affliction, that your promise gives me life.  The insolent utterly deride me, but I do not turn away from your law.  When I think of your rules from of old, I take comfort, O LORD.  Hot indignation seizes me because of the wicked, who forsake your law.  Your statutes have been my songs in the house of my sojourning.  I remember your name in the night, O LORD, and keep your law.  This blessing has fallen to me, that I have kept your precepts.

A hymn of possessives, Lord. So much is identified as belonging to You: Your word, Your servant, Your promise, Your law, Your rules, Your statutes, Your name, Your precepts.  Ten times that something has been named as Yours; eight of those are references to Your word.  You are the God of the Word, the God who Speaks to His people, the God who provides wisdom and knowledge so that His people may live in His presence.
